Weather vs Whether

One is the sky; the other is a question of choice.

  • WEATHER — sun, rain, snow, etc. The weather is terrible.
  • WHETHER — if / which of two. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Quick tip: weather has “eat” weather you can almost feel; whether is a question word, like “which.”
