To, Too, Two

Three words, one sound, endless trouble.

  • TO — direction, or before a verb. I'm going to the moon. I want to sleep.
  • TOO — also, or excessively. Me too. It's too hot. Too many goats.
  • TWO — the number 2.

Quick tip: too has an extra O because it means “extra / also.” two has a W, like “twin” and “twice.”
